ShutterBucks is a creator monetization platform where photographers, models, and content creators earn money through photo transactions, premium content, and tips. It combines social discovery (a public feed, explore page, and following system) with direct creator-to-fan transactions — all without the stigma of adult-only platforms.

## How It Works

Creators set their own prices and rules. Fans browse public profiles, discover creators through the Stream feed and Explore page, and transact directly.

- **Photo Sends & Requests**: Send or request custom photos with optional payments. Supports bidirectional payment flows — creators can earn by sending OR receiving photos.
- **Photosets**: Sell curated photo bundles with built-in licensing (Creative Commons, commercial, editorial, print release).
- **Subscriptions**: Fans subscribe to creators for recurring support and exclusive access.
- **Direct Messages**: Private messaging between users.
- **Tipping**: Send tips from $1 to $100 directly to creators.
- **Stream**: A social feed where creators share posts, and fans like, comment, and bookmark.
- **Referral Program**: Earn $10 when someone you refer earns their first $100.

## How Creators Earn

Creators keep **80%** of all earnings. ShutterBucks takes a 20% commission on payouts only. Payments are processed through Stripe Connect — creators link their bank account and withdraw earnings on their schedule.

## Content Policy

- Users must be 18+ to join.
- Public areas (Stream, Discovery) are SFW only.
- Nudity is allowed in private transactions between consenting adults. Sexually explicit content is prohibited platform-wide.
- NSFW creators are hidden from discovery by default; users opt in to see them.
